SmartSuggest: Popular search terms (without previous input)

The suggest function is not displaying the most popular search terms when a user has not entered any input. As a search manager I would like to improve the functionality of the suggest function by incorporating popular search terms that are not dependent on the user's previous input.

Hi Yannick - we are currently heavily thinking about this, as it would be very easy for us to provide such functionality with our upcoming new suggest feature.

But after a short internal discussion we thought that having only the option to show the most popular search terms might be too limited. We came up with the following other use-cases which might be interesting as well:

most popular terms
terms with highest findability
terms with highest sellability
terms with highest popularity uplift

you could then decide on your end which list to show and when. Do you agree?
