As a searchmanager it would be nice to have data which product category performs good or bad. To have the option to filter the performance charts based on category affinity.

to clarify you are interested in looking in the data from the other side (the category side) right?
For a given category (or set of categories) show me the queries with KPIs ?

Andreas Wagner Yes right. I want to see in which month which category is the most popular and most succesfull from search perspective. One idea is to have the possibility to filter the popular queries based on category affinity.
Sure the queries could have more than 1 relationship in case of category. 
But its in the most cases possible to see a main affinity for A, B or C.
So if a filter is set for A - it would be best to get all queries whoes main affinity was A.
